Another visit from the tooth fairy .....

On the way to the beach yesterday Cameron lost his second tooth, a few days earlier and it would have definately been a case of "All I want for Christmas ...!!". Of course last night we also had another visit from the tooth fairy ......... (sorry for the blurry picture!!)

Another beautiful day at the beach ....

We had such a wonderful hour or so at Rapaki on Saturday afternoon that we went back yesterday with our friends Michelle and Gary for a picnic. It was a scorching day and we had a fantastic day relaxing in the sun whilst the kids looked for treasures and played in the ocean.

It's not everyday you see someone take their sheep for a walk to the beach!!!!

The boys, as you can see were exhausted and were fast asleep by the time we got home :o)

An afternoon at the beach ....

This afternoon we took a drive over the Port Hills to the bays and ended up at Rapaki Beach. It was just stunning and the weather has been really hot. The boys spent an hour or so searching for treasures and clambering over the rocks. We had such a good time that we're going back tomorrow with a picnic and our togs :o)

A morning at the pool .....

This morning has been absolutely beautiful so the boys donned their togs and we went round the corner to the Prebbleton Community pool. It's a great facility - you pay $20 and you can swim as much as you want all summer. Only downside is it's a tad chilly!!!!

It's a little cold ..... slowly .... slowly....

Thursday 25th December - Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!

The boys were up bright and early to see whether Santa had arrived .......... as you can see he came armed with lots of presents for the boys. Thank you to everyone that sent presents!!!!

Santa even got busy in the garden !!!!! Very impressive!!! If you are wondering what Santa bought for Alan and I check out http://www.harcourts.co.nz/ and search Rosebery Street!!!!! Just waiting for confirmation on building checks etc ...... will keep you posted on that one ........

The boys spent the morning bouncing whilst I baked for later ......lemon meringue cake ......yum!!!

At lunchtime we headed over to New Brighton to Jen & Si's for a Christmas Day BBQ. Jen's mum, sister and her family were there as well as some other friends. We had a lovely day spent eating too much, drinking a few glasses of wine, chilling in the hammock and playing ping pong!! The best way to spend Christmas Day!!!

We arrived home late with three very excited but tired boys :o)

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we went round to our friends house for a festive BBQ.

Once the cookie, beer and carrots were out with the stockings the boys went off to bed and straight to sleep to prepare for Santa .........

A lovely day out ....

Today we went round for what was meant to be a BBQ at our friends house. Unfortunately the weather has taken a turn for the worse and it has been pouring with rain pretty much for the last 24 hours!!!! So instead we went round for an incredibly yummy roast beef lunch with all the trimmings followed by choc pudding and ice-cream .... Mmmmm.

Always good to catch up with Karen and Mike and the boys had a fab time playing with Ellie :o)

A happy little boy ......

Yesterday Ewan had his Christmas Party at pre-school. More of the usual including a visit from Santa of course. He was particularly excited about his present ...... now those of you who know the wee man will know that wherever Ewan goes 'Teddy' or 'Baby' is never far behind!!! 'Teddy' was actually a present from Kindercare a couple of years ago and is much loved by Ewan ...... this years present was a fantastic dinner set with non other then teddy on all the pieces ..........a very happy boy!!!! PS Ewan and his friends at pre-school were playing at Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer ... just in case you were wondering about the red nose!!!!

.....today the first of Cameron's wobbly teeth finally came out ...... he was very quick to go to sleep in order for the tooth fairy to pay her first visit!!!

On Monday Cameron had his Junior School Prize-giving. We are very proud of Cameron who got a Certificate of Excellence for his effort this year.

Sunday 14th December. A day of parties .......

Sunday was a day of parties. We started off at the Ernst & Young Children's Party which took place at one of the many parks in town. It was a lovely day but freezing but the boys had lots of fun on the bouncy castle, playing party games and of course it wouldn't be a kiwi christmas party with out a bbq .........

....... and of course a visit from Santa!!!!

In the afternoon it was off to the Prebbleton Plunket Children's Party. Once more the obligatory bbq, water play and visit from Santa.

The boys came home tired but very, very happy :o)
